Text Messaging Terms

SuperStorage Account & Service Texts. Last updated October 22, 2026

Texting is optional. You don't have to agree to texts to rent, reserve or pay. We text you only when you ask us to on a phone call, or when you text us first. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

What we text

  • A payment link you asked for on a phone call.
  • A rental or reservation link you asked for on a phone call.
  • Replies to texts you send us, from our automated assistant or our facility staff.

Under this program we don't send marketing or promotional texts, recurring reminders, gate or access notices, or collection, lien or auction notices.

How you opt in

1. You ask for a link on a phone call. Before we text you, we confirm your mobile number and ask:

"Would you like SuperStorage {Location} to text the payment link you requested to the mobile number you confirmed? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Texting is optional and isn't required to rent or pay."

{Location} is the name of the location above that you called (for example, Grover Beach). For a rental or reservation link, we say "rental link" or "reservation link", as appropriate, instead of "payment link". Facility staff or our automated phone assistant may ask the question. We text only if you clearly say yes, only to the number you confirmed, and only the link you asked for. If you say no, we don't text you. You can still pay or reserve online at ineedsuperstorage.com, by phone, or at the office.

2. You text us first. If you text one of the numbers above, we reply only about your message. The first reply comes from our automated assistant, says it is automated, names the location and includes "Reply STOP to opt out." If the assistant can't help, or you ask for a person, it lets you know that facility staff will follow up. Staff follow up in the same text conversation during office hours.

Asking for a link, or texting us, doesn't sign you up for any other texts.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with your requests. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

How to stop or get help

  • Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any text to stop texts from that number. We'll send one confirmation and nothing more. Reply START to allow texts from that number again. This does not sign you up for recurring messages.
  • Reply HELP for help, or call the location's office at the number above.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We don't sell or rent your mobile number or your text-messaging consent, and we don't share them with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share them only with service providers that deliver our texts, such as our messaging provider and mobile carriers, and only as needed to send, receive and keep records of your messages. We may also disclose them when required by law.
